Lovely little high street cafe, it does what it says on the tin. A wide range of choices on the menu and good value prices. Would definitely recommend it if you're in Ely and need a quick bite to eat.

Support your local Cafe This place is an ideal location for a lap up supper. If you're like myself and have felt warm belly full of Shepherd's Pie and hot Cappuccino, then look no further. A traditional family friendly environment, no alcohol, no trouble, free wifi and accepts card. No need to dress up, could've finished work or shopping and in need of creature comforts. Lovely Job!

On the 15th May around 13:30- 13:45 we were served by a young blonde lady. We both found her refreshing, approachable, genuine and very friendly. She makes a really good impression of the place and I felt I needed to give her a tip because people like that really make your experience more enjoyable. She is an asset to the Street Cafe Restaurant and the owners are lucky to have her working there.

I purchased a bacon and cheese omelette, with chips, peas and salad along with a can of coca-cola for 11.45. The food was nicely cooked and was good value as the portion was quite large. A great little English cafe doing stuff like 3 egg omelettes with huge amounts of chips and salad and a cup of tea for under a tenner. It's not gourmet food but you're not going to be hungry and it's small enough to be friendly.

Ely’s “greasy spoon” cafe that serves a wide range of cooked breakfasts, burgers, jacket potatoes, etc etc. The food isn’t in danger of winning a Michelin star but it is great and filling, with wide variety. The service is fast and always friendly (especially the young blonde bookworm waitress!).

We went for a quick cafe breakfast of eggs, beans, sausages, chips - it was lovely and comforting on a cold day. My coffee was especially nice, which was a pleasant surprise. The menu has a lot to offer and you can add items/customise your meal. The staff were lovely, service was quick and efficient. Overall a good experience. Will definitely return.
